Susanna (went by Susan) Frank was the sixth of thirteen known children of Johann Wilhelm (went by William) Franck/Frank (1731-1804) and Barbara Walk Frank (1735-1815), who married c1751 at Virginia? or Rowan (now Davidson) County, North Carolina? The family moved from Virginia to North Carolina in the early 1750s.

Some records record the vital dates of Susan as 08 Mar 1765 - 29 Jul 1838. the grave marker is somewhat difficult to read. Does anyone have any proof ot her birth or death date?

Susan married Hans Heinrich (went by Henry) Conrad (1762-1834) in c1786 at Rowan (now Davidson) County, North Carolina. Henry was a life-long farmer in the area of Rowan County, North Carolina that became Davidson County in 1822.

Susan and Henry were the parents of ten known children, seven girls and three boys, namely:

1. Elizabeth Conrad Darr (1787-1856)
2. John David Conrad (1788-1860)
3. Susanna Conrad Darr (1791-1876)
4. Catherine Conrad (1794-???)
5. Jacob Conrad (1796-1862)
6. William Conrad (1797-???)
