Mr.Favale, the husband of Maria (Sica) Favale, died Thursday, June 20 at his home after a long illness. He was born in Torella, Dei Lombardi, Italy, on December 19, 1913, a son of the late Vincenzo and Antonia (Faiia) Favale. He was a veteran of the Italian Army, serving during World War II. He came to this country and to Waterbury, September 5, 1949, and was employed by Uniroyal Inc. of Naugatuck, Footwear Division, for 25 years, retiring in 1975. He was a commicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, where he was very active with the Holy Name Society. He gave his time and energy to his church, especially to its annual feast.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Vincent Favale of Plantsville and Joseph M. Favale of Watertown; a daughter, Mrs. Connie Croce of Middlebury; a brother, Michael Favale of Torella, Italy; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
