Mr. Ellery, until becoming ill, was sales engineer of the National Broach and Tool Co., Detroit.
He was interested in music, and wrote numerous songs, several of which were broadcast over the Canadian network.
Mr. Ellery was born in Portsmouth, N.H., and came to Toledo in 1913, He left Toledo seven years ago to make his home in Bay City, Mich., and later Detroit.
He is survived by his wife, Harriet Brigham Ellery; sons, Lieut. Robert B. Ellery, Pensacola, Fla., and Charles T. Ellery, Brooklyn, N.Y.; one grandson; mother, Mrs. Robert L. Ellery, and sister, Mrs. Frederick Poske, Detroit.
