Abraham was the son of Thomas and Susannah Dishman Galloway and the husband of Mary Elizabeth Dishman (married 18 Dec 1854 in Warren Co., KY). They had five sons ( John, Thomas, Oliver, Miller and Benjamin) and four daughters ( Anna, Hettie, Margaret, and Daisy). After Mary's death Abraham married Searle Frost in 1887. They are not known to have had any children.
Excerpts from Abe Galloway's obituary are as follows: "Abe died after an illness of 8 weeks with pneumonia. He came to Warren Co., Ky, with his family when he was 4 years old and had been a resident of Warren County ever since. He had owned and operated his grain mill for 43 years. He purchased the mill from Joe -?-, and it was built 64 years ago. Abe was married twice, first to Miss Elizabeth Dishman, and after her death he married Mrs Annie Frost, who survives him. He was also survived by four sons, Miller, Benjamin, Mark and Beckham Galloway, and five daughters, Mrs Chris Walker, Mrs Roscoe Hinds, Mrs John Silby, Miss Maggie Galloway and Miss Bessie Galloway".
