Wesley "Ernie" Kimbrell June 28, 1929 - December 8, 2008

SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Wesley "Ernie" Kimbrell will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave. Entombment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, December 12 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Kimbrell was born in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a resident of Shreveport. He served in the US Army as a platoon leader in Korea. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Kimbrell and Lillie Bell Roe.

He is survived by his wife, Candice; daughters, Karen Cowden and husband Fred, Cindy Parsons and husband Jerry, and Kristi Kimbrell; sons, Charles Kimbrell and Jackie Gilliam; sister, Joyce Kimbrell King; niece, Kimbrell Walls and husband James, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Josh Kimbrell, Fred Cowden, Lance Baker, Brandon Walls, James Gilliam and David Cowden, Jr.
