Belmont- Funeral services for Mrs. Gracie Worley Brooks, who died Monday, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Beech Avenue Baptist Church in Gastonia. Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Joney D. Conner of Belmont, Mrs. Roy Godwin of Gastonita and Mrs. C.B. Newton of Murphy; one son, John H. Brooks of Davidson; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Nora Lee Alexander and Mrs. lucy Fulton, both of Walhalla, S.C. and Mrs. Jerdie May Johnson of Murphy; three stepson, Jeff and Ray Brooks of Vallejo, Calif.; two sisters, Miss Emma Worley of Gastonia and Mrs. Hattie Bumgarner of Sylva; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
