Richard Mark Belvin was born June 3, 1949 in Talihina, OK the son of Henry and Sarah Belvin and had lived all of his life in Boswell. He departed this life on May 11, 2015 at the age of 65 years, 11 months and 8 days.
Richard was a roofer working in construction. He was a member of Goodspring Presbyterian Church, Boswell and a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Richard enjoyed fishing.
His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a son, James Watson Belvin; brothers and sisters, Henry Harrison Belvin, Vernon Lee Belvin, Clovis Lavada Duke, Jimmie Lou Hunt and Baby Boy Belvin.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE: two sons, Richard Mark Belvin, Jr and wife, Deborah Ann of Shawnee, OK and Henry Harrison Jonas Belvin and fiancée, Debbie of Indianola, OK; five brothers, Virgil "Buddy" Belvin of Valliant, OK, Dante Belvin of Boswell, OK, John Robert Belvin of Boswell, OK, Solomon James Belvin of Shawnee, OK, and Jerry Paul Belvin of Boswell, OK; two sisters Sarah Virginia Rutledge of Millerton, OK and Debra Elaine Bacon of Boswell, OK; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews along with many other relatives and friends.
