Charles Jenkins Charles Ray Jenkins. Leland, MS. Funeral services for Charles Ray Jenkins, 67 years old of Leland, MS will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday May 12, 2015 at Emmanuel Baptist Church. He died Saturday May 9, 2015 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens Cemetery. Ray was born August 16, 1947 in Heber Springs, AR. He has been a life long resident of Greenville where he grew up and attended school and graduated at Riverside High School. He retired at U.S.D.A. in Stoneville after 25 years of service. He married Joyce Cotton Dec. 7, 1968. He is a U.S. Army Veteran and also retired from the Mississippi National Guard. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.P. Weeks & Vivian Allen, 2 children, Kimberly Ann Jenkins & Timothy Jenkins, brother, Aubron Jenkins and his grandson, Armando Reyes Juarez. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joyce Jenkins of Leland, MS., son & daughter in law, Bradley Dean & Karen Jenkins of Batesville, MS., his daughter & son in law, Robin Denice & Kelly Middleton of Greenville, MS., sister, Dessie King & her husband Mike of Greenville, MS., 2 brothers, John Thomas "Jake" Jenkins (Gina Taylor) of Greenville, MS. & William F. Jenkins Jr. of Kingsport, TN., 5 grandchildren, Miguel Reyes Juarez, Misty D. Jenkins, Tyler Reed Rybolt, John Martin Rybolt & Madison Rae Middleton & a host of nieces nephews & friends. Rev. Mark Kelly will officiate the services.
