Alexander Keating committed suicide Wednesday of last week, by hanging himself in a corn crib on his father's farm near Norwood. He was thirty-two years old and unmarried, and had become deranged about a year and a half ago, through religious excitement. S. E. Leonard took him to the asylum at Jacksonville and afterwards Keating was transferred to Watertown. He appeared so much improved that he was sent home last spring, and had since worked on the farm, and was apparently all right. There was nothing unusual in his conduct and the finding of his boy was a distressing shock to his family.
