Mrs. E.A. Sanders Dead.
Mrs. E.A. Sanders, of 220 North E street, passed away at her home last night after a weeks illness. She was a widow and was 92 years of age. Her husband passed away here several years ago. Mrs. Sanders was well and favorably known in Arkansas City as she had resided here for a good many years. She was born in Kentucky in 1825. She was married to Wm. J. Sanders in 1846. Funeral services for Mrs. Sanders are to be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the house. Interment is to take place in Riverview cemetery.
Mrs. Sanders was the mother of twelve children, five of whom are living. They are Mrs. Margaret Keelems, of Clinton, Mo., W.I Sanders, of this city, Mrs. S.E. Nowells of Carona, Calif., Charles D. Sanders, of Amboy, Ill., and Mrs. Nora Benbrook, of Kaw City, Okla.
Three grandchildren also survive her. They are Mrs. Robert Woodward, Mrs. Arthur Smith and Miss Dorothy Sanders, all of this city.
