Charlotte Rae Chrismon Boggs, 79, died Saturday, May 2nd at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Boggs was born in Reidsville, N.C on February 3rd, 1936 to the late Helen and Jesse Chrismon. She is a member of Baux Mountain Baptist Church. Mrs. Boggs is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Bunnie Owens. Charlotte is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert "Chick" Boggs of the home, three daughters; Debbie and Les Barsz of Walkertown, Terri and Jack Calloway of Belews Creek, Stevi and Livingston Paula of Winston Salem, three sons; Donnie Boggs of Walnut Cove, Gary Boggs of High Point, Robby and Cheryl Boggs of Walkertown, one sister; Betty Leal of San Diego, C.A, one brother; Austin Chrismon of Myrtle Beach, thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren with four great grand children on the way, and special sister in laws and nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Monday, May 4th from 6-8 at Salem Funeral Home, Main St. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 5th at 11:00 a.m with burial to follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Rev. Mark Smith will be presiding.
