Mrs. Dora Webb Hoyt member of a Pacific Northwest pioneer family, died Monday in her Seattle home at the age of seventy-eight. She was born in Union City, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Webb. Her father was an Indian agent and she was the second white girl born in Union City. She attended school in Olympia before moving to Seattle where she had lived for the last thirty years.
Mrs. Hoyt was prominent in Christian Science work. Survivors include one son, George Hoyt of Los Angeles; a brother, Tom Webb, of Union City; two nieces, Mrs. Frank Morris, Olympia, nd Miss Georgia Bell Webb, Shelton; one nephew, Lonnie Webb, Eldon, and three grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held in Seattle, followed by cremation.
