Virgil "Paw" Norwood, age 93, of Jerusalem, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017. He was born November 27, 1923 in Jerusalem, son of M.B. Norwood and Etta Nance Norwood. He was the widower of Opal Margaret Mansfield Norwood. He was a World War II Army veteran, poultry farmer, bus driver for Wonderview School District, fisherman, and a member of Jerusalem Church of Christ.

He is survived by his daughters Mary Sue Huie and Margaret Ann Chism, both of Jerusalem, Virginia Dale Halbrook of Morrilton, and Sandra Jane McClaren of Lanty, brothers Mack, Boyd, and Kenneth Norwood and sister Wanda Clairday, all of Jerusalem, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Bernice Bowden.

Funeral services at Jerusalem Church of Christ. Burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Jerusalem.
