Graveside services for Clifford F. Breshears, 72, of 5400 W. State St., who died Tuesday in an Emmett nursing home, will be conducted at 10:30 a m Monday in Star Cemetery by the Rev. Thomas Blackburn of Christian Community Center.
He was born July 2, 1908, in Star, where he was reared and educated. He married Leta Frost on Feb. 7, 1931, in Star. He farmed near Star until 1934, when he moved to Boise. He was a carpenter and dry cleaner until 1963, when he became a horse trader and shoer. He retried in 1975. He was a charter member of Boise Valley Chariot Club and a member of Boise Elks Club.
Survivors include his wife of Emmett; a daughter, Marleta Shemwell of Meridian; a brother, Albert of Fontana, Calif.; two sisters, Anna Mae Johnson and Addie Rena Freeman, both of Portland; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
