Martha E. Ford, 96, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, at Bel-Wood Nursing Home.
Born Sept. 25, 1901, in Vielau, Germany, to Ernest A. and Anna M. Schmidt Sacks, she married Walter R. Ford on Sept. 10, 1937, in Peoria. He died December 1976, in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
Surviving are two sons, Earl and Ralph; and one daughter, Esther Frey of Springfield.
She was a homemaker.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
