RUTH HARRIG PERRY
ROME - Mrs. Ruth A. Perry, 62, of 115 ½ E. Liberty St., died Oct. 30, 1957, in a Rome Hospital after a long illness.
She was born Oct 28, 1895, in West Branch, daughter of Michael and Martha Hitchings Herrig. On Dec. 11, 1916 in Bride Presbyterian Church, Rochester, she was married to Charles J. Perry.
A resident of Rome most of her life (illegible) attended the First Methodist Church and was a member of the Women of the Moose, Daughters of Liberty and Royal Neighbors of America.
Besides her husband, she leave five daughters, Mrs. Ray C. Crippen of Rome, Mrs. Anthony J. Bechy of Oriskany Falls, Mrs. Willard J. Beasock of Tonawanda, Mrs. Henry E. Carlin of Little Falls, Mrs. Theodore E. Netzband of New London; two sons, Stanley W. and Robert C. Perry, both of Rome; three sisters, Miss Bessie M. Harrig of New York City, Mrs. William J. Dixon of Utica, Mrs. Byron N. Weed of Rome; a brother, Olin E. Harrig of White Plains; 23 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 Saturday from the Martin J. Nunn funeral Home, the Rev., Roland L. Osgood, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Churchville.
Friends may call at the funeral home today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
