Her parents were MARTHA ELIZABETH WHITAKER and ROBERT FORT BRADFORD, both buried in Oswichee Cemetery, Russell Co. Maternal Grandparents: MARY EMMA CROWELL WHITAKER and JAMES A. WHITAKER, both buried in Crowell Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Russell Co., AL. Paternal Grandparents: RICHARD HENRY BRADFORD and ANN 'NANCY' BRYAN FORT, both b. Halifax, NC, buried in 'GOD'S ACRE', the Bradford-Eppes Cemetery in Leon Co., FL.

Mrs. Bessie B. Bickerstaff
Mrs. Bessie Bradford Bickerstaff, 86, died at her residence, 113 A County Club Apartments, Saturday.
Private graveside services will be held this afternoon at Riverdale Cemetery.
She was the widow of the late Frank Bickerstaff Sr. She had lived in Columbus most of her life.
She was born Aug. 17, 1884 in Tallahassee, Fla., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bradford. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Frank J. Bickerstaff Jr. and Richard H. Bickerstaff, both of Columbus; and six grandchildren.
