He retired from Metalloy Foundry in Verona.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 45 years, Mrs. Virginia McGee; eight children through bloodlines and love, Ronald, Mike (Lizzie), Kerry (Nikki), Darrell (Marion), Josh (Amy), Rita, Angie and Kim (Bryant); four siblings, Frank (Geanette), Ann, L.J. (Terri) and Pokie (Earline); an uncle, Fred Anderson (Ophia); an aunt, Sarah Miller (Thomas); 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a hosts of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Pearl on Friday, April 24, at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be at White Hill M.B. Church in Tupelo on Saturday, April 25, at noon. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Corinth on Monday, April 27.
