Wife was Eliza Hoover married 1862, both buried at Bolsinger Cemetery. Father was Phillip Bolsinger
Harvey and Eliza were parents of seven children: Mary Ellen, born March 9, 1863, died April 1, 1896; George William, born January 26, 1875, died May 31, 1948; Sarah Jane, born 1871, died March of 1941; Charles Jeff, born June 12, 1873, died March 1946; Minnie, born January 26, 1875, died March 25, 1944; John Clayton, born October 1, 1878, died May 15, 1892; Joseph Frankling, born June 6, 1881, died January 27, 1971. "Frank." as we knew him.
Coming to Iowa in the late 1800's sometime arond 1879, from Union Town, Pennsylvania. Six of their children made the long trip to Iowa with them. Three sons and three daughter, Mary Ellen, Sarah Jane, Minnie, George William, Charles Jeff, and John Clayton. Their seventh child, Frank was born here in Iowa. Harvey and Eliza lived on a farm in a log cabin northeast of Colesburg, Iowa in Delaware County.
When Harvey and Eliza moved west they settled in Clayton County, near Uppergraff, Iowa. Where their seventh child, Joseph Franklin was born. Later they moved east of Colesburg where they built a log cabin along the Little Turkey River. A few years they purchaded their farm of 40 acres from Tom Schrunk in Delaward County just a few miles up the road where they were presently living. The remind on this farm until their death.
