Marion was born February 7, 1884 and was 61 years old at death. He died May 30, 1945 at 6:30 AM. His residence was Japton, AR; and he died at Madison County, Japton Township, Japton. He was a lifelong resident. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. He was buried at Ledbetter cemetery on June 2, 1945 at 3 pm with Rob Reed officiating the service.
