Mark H. Story
Funeral services for Mark Holis Story, 68, of 530 Jackson Ave., who died at his residence Saturday morning, were held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday from Hancock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. W. Rightmyer officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.
A native of Marion County, Mr. Story, a retired carpenter, was the son of the late Luther N. Story. He was a member of the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence Hollomon Story, one daughter, Mrs. C. C. Chambliss, both of Americus; one son, W. H. Story, Charleston , S. C. a sister, Mr. Mable S. Lowmon, Valdese, N. C. ; six brothers Hermon R, J. F., Dennis, and D. D. Story , all of Columbus, Harry R. Story, Chicago and Rocert C. Story, Valdese, N. C.; two grand children and several nieces and nephews.
