Sue B. Meeler Lovvorn, 77, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998.
A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Lovvorn was a daughter of the late David and Flora Mae Craft Burkhalter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Gunter, and a son, Dub Meeler. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include eight children, Betty Thomas, Jerry Meeler, Ann Sosbee and Gail Kittle, all of Bogart, Linda Bragg, Royston, Jimmy Meeler, Athens, Debra Colley, Bishop, and Peggy Seay, Hull; six sisters, Kate Meeler, Bishop, Thelma Ross and Bernice Martin, both of Watkinsville, Helen Hicks, Bogart, Juanita Henson, Athens, and Sandra Mobley, Monroe; four brothers, Eugene Burkhalter, Winterville, Charlie Burkhalter, Athens, Ben Burkhalter, Commerce, and Mack Burkhalter, Lexington; 38 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
