Amalia Beckhoff Schlotthauer, 86, 1120 Sylvia Drive Lodi, died yesterday afternoon in a local convalescent hospital from a long illness. A native of southern Russia, she lived in the Lodi area for the past 52 years, after her family moved here from Portland, Ore. in 1920. Her family was in the dairy business while in Oregon, but became grape growers with a Davis Road vineyard upon moving to Lodi.
Mrs. Schlotthauer is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Amelia Helmke, Auburn and Mrs. Mollie Beckloff of Sonoma; and two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services in the chapel of Cherokee Memorial Park, with Lodi Funeral Home in charge.
