Victor Perron Sr., an oil-field worker, died Wednesday of an apparent heart attack at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero. He was 56.
Mr. Perron was born in Lafitte and lived in Crown Point.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Bourgeois Perron; a son, Victor Perron Jr.; two daughters, Patricia Saulino and Eve Perron; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held today at 9 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Home on Gloria Drive, Jean Lafitte. Burial will be in Fleming Cemetery in Lafitte.
