Miss Francile B. Oakley of 6430 Cantrell Road, a retired Little Rock public school teacher, died Tuesday. She was born near Oakley Chapel (Benton County), daughter of the late Elijah P. and Mrs. Sallie Kindley Oakley. She received bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Arkansas. She taught for two years at Bearden (Ouachita County) and two years at Southwest City, Mo., before joining the faculty of the Old Little Rock High School. She was a member of First Methodist Church and the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was treasurer of Esther Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Past Royal Mistress and Grand Officer of Amaranth Court. She was a member of the United Daughter of the Confederacy, the Normandy Club, and the 40 and 8 of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Floy C.A. Oakley of Little Rock and Mrs. Hortense Adams of Rogers. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. at Griffin-Leggett by Rev. R.E.L. Bearden. A second funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Callison Funeral Home at Rogers. Burial will be at Oakley Chapel Cemetery near Rogers.
