Son of Walter Paul Sobleskey and Nancy Brubacher Kilmer.

In Memory of Lawrence Sobleskey
Born-4/28/28 Died-4/14/15

Lawrence was a long-time fan of both men’s and women’s fast pitch softball. You would find him either sitting in his chair right behind home plate or out sitting in his chair behind the fence in right field. Lawrence watched many generations of players come through the league and many times was the first to arrive at weekend tournaments for over 40 years. He knew all the top players by name and could tell you what position, team and how long they played. Lawrence was also familiar with most umpires and regular fans as they would always make a point to come and say hello. In the later years, players, even some from other teams, would assist him with his chair from the parking lot to his position as a fan of this great game. Lawrence, thank you for your dedication to fast pitch softball as a player and especially as its biggest fan - you will be missed by all.
