--Catherine married #1 John Rumple. They had 8 known children: Harriet C., Cena S., Robert A., Margaret, Thomas D., John W., Anna Priscilla, and Malinda Rumple, all born in Rowan County. Her husband John Rumple died in 1844.
--She married #2 Marcus Alexander. They were living in Cabarrus County in 1850.
--Her headstone is apparently one that did not survive the 1970s vandalism.
