MONTICELLO - Kenneth Armold, 80, Rt. 1, Idaville, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday in Home Hospital, Lafayette.

He was born Feb. 22, 1903, in Lamar, Mo., to Emory and Etta Drivelbiss Armold. He was married in 1939 to Muriel Jewell, who survives.

Armold was a retired farmer. He was a former director of the White County REMC. He was a member of the Sitka Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Pressley, Rensselaer; one daughter, Juliette Draffen, Dayton, Ohio; one brother, Glenn, Remington; two sisters, Bertha Pampel, Remington, and Lilly Stitz, Fowler; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home with the Rev. D. Richard Ricks officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service Thursday.
