ACOSTA, Jessie, 75, died Saturday at St. John Hospital. He is survived by his 3 sons, Michael, Jesse, Steven and his wife Kristi and their three children, whom he adored, and 2 stepsons, Todd Stockstill and Chris Stockstill. He was a brother to: Elvida Smith, Sue Miller, Flora Acosta, Raymond Acosta, all of Tulsa and Frank Acosta, of Michigan, and their families. Jessie was a lifetime resident of Tulsa and longtime member of the American Legion Post 308. He was a talented country music singer-entertainer for over 40 years. He had recently retired from 30+ years with Lakeshore Foods. He loved people and had many friends. A Rosary will be said 7:00pm Tuesday, November 1, 2011 and funeral service will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, November 2, 2011 both at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel

Jessie served in the United States Air Force in Korea. He was a longtime member of American Legion Post 308.
