Emogene Harris, 84, passed away Wednesday morning at the Boscobel Care & Rehab. She was born June 30, 1930 to Guy and Ella (Dilley) Harris in Akan Township, Richland County, where she lived and went to school, until her family moved to Boscobel in 1944.
She worked for several families caring for their children for many years and retired from the Boscobel Bank doing custodial work before going to the nursing home. She loved to go for walks and visit with people.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Cleo (Don) Wiltrout, Arlene Harris, four brothers, Verlin, Arland "Bud", and two in infancy, two sister-in-laws, Marilyn and Lucretia Harris. She is also survived by many neices, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home, 104 Fremont St. Boscobel, WI 53805 with Pastor MaryAnn Floerke officiating. Burial will be in the Felton Cemetery, Akan Twp., Richland County.
Friends may call and greet the family one hour prior to service time at the Funeral Home.
