MAMOU- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Bessie Ledoux, 95, announces her passing on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at River Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou on Monday April 13, 2015 at 3:00 P.M.

Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann's Cemetery with Father Mark Melancon as Celebrant.

Bessie, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend is survived by her husband of 76 years, Burney Ledoux of the V A Nursing Home in Alexandria, her three children, Dr. Harold Ledoux and wife Gayle of Lafayette, Craig Ledoux and wife Lynette of Burleson, Texas and Judi Ledoux Stikeleather of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Toney Stikeleather.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 2:30 P.M.on Monday.
