Henry T. Harter, 58, of 234 Beach Road died Tuesday at his home.
A native of Parish, Mr. Harter also lived in Constantia before moving to Cleveland six months ago. He retired in 1993 as an inspector with Carrier Corp. and operated the Constantia Cove Restaurant for three years.
Mr. Harter was a former member of the Parish Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Republican Lodge 325, F&AM, and Puritan Chapter 165, OES, both in Parish. He was a former volunteer with the Parish Little League. He was married to the former Carol Ward.
Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Bailey of Altmar; a son, Robert of Grand Blanc, Mich.; two sisters, Agnes Harter of Oriskany and Lillian Harter of Parish; a brother, Thomas of East Syracuse; and two grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Harter Funeral Home, Parish, the Rev. Susan Wilhem officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish.
