On June 3, 1954, he married S. Janel Marshall in Denver, Colo. His bride of almost 60 years preceded him in death, as did his parents. His life’s work was serving farmers in southwest Kansas, retiring in 2000 as manager from Fowler Equity Exchange. Survivors include: brother, Terry (Barbara) Marshall of Minneola; daughter, Sherri (Darrell) Riley of Hutchinson; two sons, Regan (Crystal) Marshall of Hutchinson and Michael (Angela) Marshall of Louisburg; seven grandchildren, Maegan (Jake) Hunninghake, Betany Riley, Macy Marshall, Carly (Matt) Batchelder, Tracy (Sarah) Marshall, Jordan (Allison) Marshall, and Garrett Marshall; and three and ¾ great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at Eastwood Church of Christ, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
