Services for Virginia Ann Stevenson Brown, 81, Deerwood Drive, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Bill Houpt officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She died at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at her home of natural causes. A native of Christian County, she was born Dec. 11, 1929, the daughter of the late Nathan Edward and Ethel Mae Hall Stevenson. She was a homemaker and a member of Little River Baptist Church. Her husband, Winfield Scott Brown, died in 2002. She was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Brown, and a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Brown Stewart. Survivors include three sons, Larry and Ricky Brown, both of Hopkinsville, Bob Brown, Cadiz; three daughters, Bonnie Brown Massinon, Judy Brown Sowell, Nancy Brown Martin, all of Hopkinsville; three brothers, Roy Stevenson, Maryville, Tenn., and Willie and Goeble Stevenson, both of Hopkinsville; a sister, Mary Braboy, Oak Grove, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
