Daughter of Ellis Irwin IDDINGS and Elvina ADAMS. Wife of William Wilson EDELBLUTE. After the death of her sister Sylvia MacDonald, Sarah and William reared their children: Sarah, Lester J., and Forest I. MacDonald.

Obituary:
Mrs. Sarah I. Edelblute of the Hotel Penn Hunt, Huntingdon, who was well known as "Aunt Sarah," died Tuesday, March 3, 1959, at 1:55 p.m. at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past month and had been a patient at the hospital since February 19. She was born July 19, 1877, in Henderson Township, a daughter of Ellis and Elvina Iddings She was married to William W. Edelblute in July of 1908 in Huntingdon by the Rev. H.K. Bower and he preceded her in death in 1933. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. William (Jennie) Myers of Bedford, R.D. and one brother, Toner I. Iddings of Watsontown. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. A number of nieces and nephews also survive, including Forrest I. MacDonald and Lester J. MacDonald, both of Huntingdon, and Mrs. Robert (Sarah) Lucas of Butler, who were reared by Mrs Edelblute. The deceased was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntingdon, a member of the Philathea Class of the church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Edelblute was a member of the GAR, Donation Grange and the WCTU. Her life was spent in service to others. She spent her entire life in the Huntingdon area. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, from Brown's in Huntingdon. The Rev. J.D. Lister, pastor of her church will officiate. Interment will be made in the Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon. Eastern Star Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home until the hour for the services.
