MACON, GA - Perry "Jack" Carson, 92, passed away March 22, 2007 at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 11A.M. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. David Hunter officiating. -Mr. Carson was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for over fifty years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II wounded in the Battle of the Bulge. He also served during the European African Middle Eastern Theater where he earned a Purple Heart and Four Bronze Battle Stars. -He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Sara Carson of Macon; four daughters, Patsy Peterson (Mike) of Lawrenceville, GA, Pamela Carson of Macon, Peggy Fellows of Macon, Penny Rupert (Mike) of Athens, GA; grandchildren, Carson, Amy, Jeffery Peterson, Christina Fellows, Perry, Riley, and Weston Rupert; sister, Pearl Leggett of Calvin, LA. -The family will greet friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
