Former Nelsonville resident, died at his home. He was born in Nelsonville, he was a son of the late George Henry Barrows and Martha (Smith) Barrows. At the time of his death he was survived by his wife, Capitola "Cappie", one son, Alonzo jr of Columbus, two dtrs Flo and Martha L., both of Columbus, two brothers, Bill, of Oak Hill and Jim of Albany, and a number of neices and nephews in the Nelsonville area. Longs Funeral home of Columubus conducted the funeral burial in Union Cemetery.
