BRAZIL - Daniel A. Auterson, 83, of Brazil died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2004, in Williamsburg Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. He was employed at Union Cement Construction. He was born Aug. 27, 1920, in Kentucky, to Tom Auterson and Jane Corbin Auterson. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, M. Auterson; Four sons, S.J. Auterson and his wife, D. Auterson and his wife, T. Auterson and P. Auterson; five daughters D. Purcell, P. Baysinger, C. Auterson, J. Gormon, and C. Hill; one brother B. Auterson and his wife; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Eller Yates, Pearl Cox, and Annie Henson; and two children, Daniel Thomas Auterson and Marilyn Brown. He was a member of Cement Masons Local Union 75. Services are 1 P.M. Saturday in Mattox-Ryan Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jacob Raubach officiating. Burial is in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation is noon until 1 P.M. Saturday.
