Daniel Boone "D.B." White passed away, Thursday, May 25, 2006, in Norman at the age of 70. He was born July 21, 1935, in Tribbey to Daniel Boone and Mary Bethel (Ray) White.

He married Johnnie Sue (McDaniel) on Dec. 6, 1956, in Ada. He was retired from the United States Air Force, where he was a staff sergeant with the 461 Combat Defense SQ. SAC. Strategic Air Command. He was military disabled. He was a member of the DAV - Lifetime member of the Disabled Association of Veterans. He served as a deacon at the Free Will Baptist Church and was a longtime member of the church. He loved hunting and fishing, working on his property, spending time with his family and puppies. He loved get-togethers and cookouts.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Sue White of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Zane and Diana White of Seminole; three daughters and sons-in-law, Suzanna and Cam Dooley of Yukon, Laurie and Ronnie Calaway of Yukon and Kathy White Richmond of Seminole; two brothers, Thomas White of Seminole and Burney White of Shawnee; three sisters, Marqueriette Wilson of Earlsboro, Oleta McFatridge of Ardmore, and Aline, one special sister-in-law, Louise White; seven grandchildren, Amber White, Heather White-Richards, Cama Dooley, Jonathon Calaway, Megan Calaway, Dayna Grandstaff and Trey Richmond; two great-grandchildren, Britton Richards and Austyn Lee White-Richards, the sunshine of his life.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at the Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. David McDougal officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery in Tecumseh.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
