Funeral services for Alvis (Tom) Sinks, 69, of Anna, will be conducted Tuesday in the chapel of Crane Funeral Home by the Rev. Ewell Gulley, pastor of Jonesboro Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.

Mr. Sinks died early Saturday in Union County Hospital. He was born Oct. 26, 1900, to the late Thomas Alva and Hattie Ellen Davis Sinks.

Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth Thompson; sons, Leroy and Donald; sisters, Eula Trece and Zelma Sheer; and brothers, Karol and Robert.
