LEWISTON - Carl H. Hodgdon, 87, of 285 Webber Ave., died Saturday morning, Feb. 22, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born in Westport Island on Dec. 29, 1915, teh son of Lester and Helena (Higgins) HOdgdon and had been a resident of Lewiston since 1937. He married Lucienne "Lu" Pratt on Oct. 9, 1937. He worked for 39 years at Bath Iron Works as a leading welder until his retirement in 1979. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church. he is survived by his wife of Lewiston with whom he spent 65 happy years; one son, Eric Hodgdon and his wife Dawn, and two grandsons, Travis and Cory Hodgdon, all of Towanda, Pa.; three brothers, Lester Hodgdon of Westport Island, Alfred Hodgdon of Buxton, and George Hume of Florida; and by several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his good friends Roger and Joan Duqusnoy.

HODGDON - Died in Lewiston Feb. 22, 2003, Carl H. Hodgdon, 87, of Lewiston. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Chapel Entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to teh charity of one's choice. Arrangments under the direction of the PINETTE FUNERAL HOME, 87 Bartlett St. 784-4023.
