Obituary of William H. Albert found in fragile pages of bible of William H. Albert and his wife Emma E. Albert:

ALBERT

William H. Albert, 68, of 3229 South Calhoun Street, died Saturday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock at his home after an illness of two months. He was born in Virginia and had been a resident of this city for 15 years. He was a real estate dealer. Mr. Albert was a member of Simpson Methodist Church and of the Fort Wayne Moose Lodge. His wife died three years ago. Surviving are the following children: Miss Jean and Miss Geneva Albert of Fort Wayne; Mrs. Franklin Schulze of Porto Rico; Mrs. C. A. Leatherman, of Muncie; one brother, John Lewis of Monroe, W. Va. and one grandchild, Virginia Schulze. The body was taken to Mungovan & Sons Funeral Home where it may be viewed until Monday morning, when it will be taken to the late home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Simpson M.E. Church with Rev. Frederick Thornburg officiating. Burial at Upland, Ind.
