Sarah Kerr Long Blake was my third-great grandmother Long, the widow of Irvin Robinson Long (1827-1862), a Union soldier who died in the Civil War. In 1865, she married William S. Blake. Her daughter Clarissa "Clara" Jane Long (1852-1930) married William B. Haugh (1849-1906); their daughter Rose B. Haugh (1882-1918) married Earl Jay Marshall (1878-1941); and their son Clifford William Marshall (1897-1964) was my grandfather. At this time, I don't know the names of Sarah's parents. Their surname sometimes is seen as "Carr". See the entry for her husband, Irvin R. Long, for the names of their children.
