A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 1997, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gresham for Edna Halford Smith, who died Feb. 18 in San Pedro, Calif., of complications of a stroke. She was 89.
Mrs. Smith was born Oct. 5, 1907, in McCammon, Idaho. Former owner of a retail dress shop in Oakland, Calif., she lived in Gresham and Milwaukie for 25 years before moving to San Pedro two years ago. She married William Colman in 1929. They divorced. She married Edgar B. in 1950. He since has died.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Ronald Colman of San Pedro, and sister, Betty J. Olsen of Gresham.
Private interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham.
