Nelly is the daughter of Gilbert and Elizabeth (Waldron) Munson. Her father served in the War of 1812. it is documented that Ellen aka Nelly married Madison Miller on Dec 15, 1844 in Michigan. Other researchers have her death date as Dec 21, 1853 in Milan, Twp, Washtenaw, Michigan. However a gravestone has yet to be found. Her only child who lived to adulthood was my 2nd great grandmother, Sarah Augustia Miller, buried in the Rice Cemetery.
