HAMLIN- Mrs Matilda Stowers, 75, of Clothier, Boone County, formerly of Lincoln County, died Saturday in a Charleston hospital.
Surviving: husband, Burke of Clothier; brother, Everett Adkins of Sharples; sisters, Mrs Esta Mullins of Industry, Pa., Mrs Lola Whitten Ryan of Morrisvale.
Service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Koontz Funeral home in Hamlin with the Rev Buster Lovejoy and the Rev Roy Withrow. Burial will be in Goldsbury Cemetery. Friends may call today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin
