The tragedy was discovered shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday when the parents went to get the little boy out of his crib. Frantically they administered artificial respiration and immersed the still body in hot water. Failing to bring a sign of life, they rushed the child to the Camas fire station where the resuscitator was administered for about a half hour. The attending physician reported that the child was dead when it was brought to the fire station. resuscitation was administered by Lawrence Beauchamp and Police Chief Fred Lee.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today at Stoller's chapel with Rev. John Phipps officiating . Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
Neil is also survived by a three year old sister and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Fitzgerald of Mt. Pleasant and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Immenroth of Vancouver.
