Mr. Hegvick died December 30 in a Carrington hospital.
He was born in Willow Township, Griggs County, May 13, 1919, son of the late Magnus and Gunda Hegvick. He farmed and was employed in construction work as well as in the State Hospital in Jamestown and by the state highway department. A veteran of World War II, he had made his home in the Pekin area for many years.
He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Edward (Margaret) Arlien, Pekin, Mrs. Helga Holm, Fort Ransom, and Mrs. Raleigh (Molfried) Anderson, Glenfield; two brothers, Jarl of Binford and George of Fargo, eight nephews and seven nieces.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
