He was born on July 26, 1920, in Monroe County to Verne Hanna and Delphia (Isom) Hanna.
He was a WWII Army veteran and was employed as a carpenter and a farmer. Paul was also a retired member of the local carpenter union #1664, and a member of Ellettsville Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Martha Jean (Byers) Hanna; one brother, Gene Hanna; and one sister, Helen Carpenter.
Paul is survived by his brothers, Warren Hanna of Ellettsville; Albert Hanna, William Hanna and Don Hanna, all of Bloomington; one sister, Norma Stevens of Ellettsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
