 Henry Albrecht, son of Robert and Caroline, nee Meyers, Albrecht was born near Minden, Potawattamie county, Ia., August 6, 1878.  He passed away at Crete, Nebr., March 3, 1955 at the age of 76 years, seven months and 27 days.
 At the age of eight he migrated with his parents to Bruning, Nebr., where a home was established northwest of town.  After the death of his father in 1907, a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Jurgens, and family moved into the home and Henry and his mother remained to make their home with them.
 Farming and real estate were Mr. Albrecht's life's occupation.  Becoming seriously ill, he was moved to the nursing home at Crete where he passed away.
 He is survived by two sisters, Tillie Jurgens of Geneva and Emma Garrels of Botha, Canada; three brothers, Fred of Davenport, Charlie of Bruning and Robert of Geneva.  He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one brother.
 Services were held at the Kritner-Ashby Funeral Home in Geneva.  Interment was in Harmony Cemetery.
